Second victory for the National Men’s Handball Team

The men’s national handball team prevailed 26-24 against Georgia in the second friendly match between them in Thessaloniki and showed a satisfactory situation, in view of the start of its obligations in the EURO 2024 qualifiers.

The two teams kept pace with changes in the lead until the 45th minute. From then on, Greece had the first reason for the victory. Giorgos Zaravinas showed from the beginning the intention to divide the participation time among his athletes. The National Team had an improved defense compared to Wednesday’s match, Bukovinas again played with high percentages at home (13 interventions), while Papavasilis was productive in scoring with 6 goals.
