Statements after the announcement of his transfer to PAOK were made by Thomas Canziorawho stressed that he came to win titles with the “Two-Headed of the North”, mentioned that he got information about the Thessalonians from Rasvan Lucescu’s father, Mircea, while also recalling Karol Swivderski, who was the Pole who most recently wore the PAOK jersey.

What the Polish defender said in detail:

“I came here to fight for the title and help the team win the Greek Cup. I am here to help the team and show who I am to the Greek fans. PAOK is a huge club. Everyone in Europe knows about PAOK and Thessaloniki. I thought it was a good idea to come here and help the team. I want to give 100% for the people of PAOK and play the football I know.”

“I spoke to Mr. Lucescu and he told me only good things about his son. We saw together the game against Panathinaikos for the cup. It was a very good game. We really enjoyed it.”

“I know that many players from Poland played here. I’m the latest on the list and want to keep the tradition going. Karol (Sfinderski) won a championship here, that’s what I want to do too.”
