Ajax goal disallowed in clash with Go Ahead Eagles and VAR lines not working

In a game, of course, where he has strong complaints from the referee, as he saw that the correct procedure was not followed when the goal that would have given him the lead was disallowed.

The phase took place in 32′when Berghaus crossed from the left, with Kountos to jump and score with the head. The supervisor then raised the flag, with the referee not counting the goal. And the… weirdness begins here, as according to the ESPN commentator, the VAR officials could not draw the offside lines with available camera angles. Therefore, the referee’s decision stood as it stood, in a phase where the away midfielder left – at least – a marginal position.

The case in question has already raised a lot of debate in the Netherlands.
