The postponed Panathinaikos-Olympiakos table tennis derby has been postponed to next Saturday

by

The Panathinaikos-Olympic derbies next Saturday are two of a total of six matches of the “red and white” men and women that were postponed last March due to the participation of its athletes in the Grand Smash in Singapore.

The remaining four were from the beginning scheduled for next Saturday in the federal hall of the SEF and that does not change. However, the matches with Panathinaikos in the two leagues had to be postponed, as they were scheduled for next Friday at 18:00, but in the same place on the same day, the second home match of the men’s basketball team of Olympiakos for the playoffs took place of the Euroleague against Fenerbahce.

The Technical Committee of the Federation informed that “under the pressure of time it was not possible to find a room capable of hosting the postponed meetings on Friday 28 April” and, thus, moved the date of their holding to Saturday 29/04 at SEF, shaping the entire program.

We remind you that with the postponed matches, this year’s A1 is completed and the derby between the undefeated Olympiakos and the current leader, Panathinaikos, in the men’s division, is of great interest, which will probably decide the champion of Greece for the 2022-2023 season.
