Petridis: “Nothing has been done right all year at Panathinaikos”

by

The aftermath of Panathinaikos’ loss to Peristeri bwin for the semi-finals of the Basket League was carried by News Bulletin 247 Giorgos Petridis.

Initially, the “trefoil” reporter focused on the many mistakes of Christos Serelis’ players in the match, emphasizing that this is a relevant sample of the unorthodox work done this year in the team: “Theoretically, Panathinaikos is superior to Peristeri bwin, but it has not been proven. For example Williams shows that he cannot help Serelis’ equation. The team was too soft mentally in the match and failed to compensate for the opponent’s passion. When you start with four mistakes you know what will follow”.

He then emphasized that there were no survivors from the encounter, while he then referred to the day after the “clover”: “Besides Ponitkas and Panagiotis Kalaitzakis who fought, no one else stood out in Peristeri. The players are also responsible for what is happening this year. They lost many duels. In general, a change of mentality is needed. Tragic choices were made on the part of the foreigners and it showed that the thing was going wrong from the beginning. Nothing has gone right all season.” he initially stated while continuing: “For the next day, we are waiting for Ataman to finish his duties with Efes and come to evaluate the roster to see who he will continue with”.
