Nikologiannis: “Better days with the new stadium – Panathinaikos’ transfer priorities”

by

Tasos Nikologiannis spoke to bwinSPORT FM about the transfers, the upcoming moves, as well as the presentation of the facilities of Erasitechnis Panathinaikos in Botanikos.

Initially, Nikologiannis spoke about the possible opponents in the Champions League qualifiers: “There is no easy opponent. Either Genk or Dnipro. Genk is a full attacking team with more talent. Panathinaikos does not have a good tradition with the teams from Belgium. Panathinaikos has not lost with any of the two teams. He has a great chance to qualify for the next stage and will have to make the most of the chances».

For transcripts: It is a given that Panathinaikos is moving for specific positions. Central midfielder, left back and stopper are the priorities. After these positions are filled, then Panathinaikos will move for the rest. The main stage of preparation should have these new faces. It is not easy to do it at the beginning of June, but Panathinaikos is obliged to do it and the decisions will have to be made. Everything is in the hands of Ivan Jovanovic. He gives the final ok. There is a player base that needs to grow to go into Champions League qualifiers with greater supplies».

For Lingr: Ling hasn’t decided yet. That is the issue and that is why nothing has been done. Perhaps we have a clearer picture after his obligations with the Czech Republic. Panathinaikos is willing to satisfy Slavia Prague».

For A.O.’s facilities in Botanikos:These are facilities that are hard to find. From the moment Panathinaikos steps onto the field, only better days will come».
