The first day of the European Cheerleading Championship held in Verona was colored… “blue and white”. The Greek teams triumphed and won four medals, of which one silver and three bronze.
At the same time, two Greek teams won the gold medal in the European league for 2022.
The European Championship started like a dream for Greece. Our country competed on the first day of the competition with 14 teams and won 4 medals, while at the same time securing five tickets for Sunday’s finals. It is worth noting that the five best teams qualify, where they will compete again for their entrance to the winners’ podium.
The silver medal was won by Eva Veneti – Asimina Kouveletsou in the senior double cheer hip hop category (Trikala Athletics Association).
The bronze medal was won by Anthia Patou and Paraskevi Papatkoudi junior freestyle Pom double (Hellenic Star).
Katerina Apostolatou and Nina Andreanidou came in third place in the senior freestyle Pom double category (Hellenic Star), while Cygnus of AS Helleniko Asteri in the Junior All Girl Advanced category (Hellenic Star) wore the bronze medal on their chest!
At the same time, Greece celebrated five qualifiers in the final. More specifically, on Sunday the Amazons will compete in the Youth Pom and Youth Hip hop categories, in the Junior Jazz the Greek Star and AGOP Myrtali and in the senior Jazz category the Greek Star
