Sasha Vezenkov is officially a Kings player, as the Sacramento team announced the agreement with the MVP of the Euroleague in the 2022/23 season and double of Greece with Olympiakos.

“The Sacramento Kings announced today that they have signed forward Sasha Vezenkov. As required by team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Vezenkov was named the 2022-23 EuroLeague MVP, averaging 17.6 points (55.3% from the field, 38.3% from 3-point range, 84% from the field), 6.9 rebounds and 1 steal per game in 40 games ( 39 in the original format) for Olympiakos.
He also received the Alphonso Ford EuroLeague top scorer award and was selected to the All-EuroLeague top team for the second consecutive season.
During the 2022-23 season, Vezenkov played in the Greek Basket League for Olympiakos, averaging 16.7 points (58% from the field, 39.4% from 3-pointers, 80.3% from the field), 5.7 rebounds and 1 steal per game.
Vezenkov was named the league’s most valuable player for the second consecutive season and helped his team win the title.
Originally from Bulgaria, Vezenkov began his career in the Greek Basket League with Aris, spending four seasons with the team from 2011-15.
He joined Barcelona for the next three years (2015-18) before moving to Olympiakos in 2018-19.
Vezenkov was originally selected No.57 in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Brooklyn Nets.
