THE Kenny Cherry and Thomas Scrubb were the last two players “cut” from Canada’s dozen for the World Cup.
The roster includes seven active NBA players, Kelly Olynyk, Nikale Alexander-Walker, ARJ Barrett, Dillon Brooks, Lou Dort, Shay Giljus-Alexander and Dwight Powell. Andrew Wiggins (from the beginning) and Jamal Murray (due to injury) were left out of the World Cup.
For eighth group Canada will face France (8/25), Lebanon (8/27) and Latvia (8/29) in Jakarta.
