A difficult premiere with an upset for AEK

AEK celebrated a difficult victory over Pylaia with a score 22-21for the premiere of Handball Premier.

The “yellow and black” led 12-10 at halftime, but the visitors equalized at 14-14 and took a 17-15 lead in the 47th minute. AEK leveled their turn at 17-17 with seven minutes to go, with Pylaia holding a two-goal lead (18-20) until three minutes to go.

From there, the “yellow and black” gasped again and with a four-goal streak celebrated the great reversal with 22-21.

Papadopoulos was the big star for AEK with seven goals, while Liapis scored the goal that sealed the victory.

For Pylaia, five goals were scored by Karagiozopoulos and four each by Alexandridis and Triantafyllidis.
