The capacity groups in Women’s Polo Champions League and Men’s Polo Euro Cup


In the Polo Women’s Champions League there are four capacity groups, while in the Euro Cup there is one restriction: Teams that have played each other in the qualifying round cannot be drawn together in the groups.

Alimos, Vouliagmeni and Ethnikis Piraeus are together in the third capacity group.

Capacity Group 1: CN Astralpool Sabadell (ESP), Olympiacos Piraeus (GRE), Orizzonte Catania (ITA), Tigra-ZF-Eger (HUN)

Capacity Group 2: UVSE Budapest (UN), Mulhouse WP (FRA), Assolim CN Mataro (ESP), Sant Andreu (ESP)

Capacity Group 3: ALIMOS NAC Betsson (GRE), National Piraeus (GRE), Vouliagmeni (GRE), SIS Roma (ITA)

Capacity Group 4: FTC-Telekom (HUN), CN Mediterrani (ESP), CN Terrassa (ESP), Dunaujvaros (HUN)

Regarding the men’s Euro Cup, Panionios and Apollon Smyrnis are in the second group, the third.

The 16 teams entering the draw will form four groups of four, with the top two in each group advancing to the quarterfinals.

Group winners (who took first place): Sabac (Serbia), Vasas (Hungary), Trieste, (Italy), Primorje Rijeka (Croatia), Honved (Hungary), Palermo (Italy), Barcelona (Spain), Primorac Kotor ( Montenegro)

Group runners-up (who took second place): Ortizia (Italy), Vazutas (Hungary), Tourquay (France), Sibenik (Croatia), Panionios (Greece), Savona (Italy), Apollon Smyrna (Greece), Hanover (Germany)
