A great action is being taken by Manchester Cityto honor her now ex-footballer, Ilkay Gintoganfor his contribution to the club!

Through the mouth of their president, Khaldoun Al Mubarakthe “citizens” announced that they will give the name of their former leader, who today celebrates his 33rd birthday, to one of their training grounds!

At the same time, one very beautiful mosaic which depicts him celebrating the goal against Aston Villa that secured City’s 2021-22 title, has already taken its place at the club’s training facility.

THE Gintogan joined the Manchester City in the summer of 2016, making 304 appearances with them (with 60 goals, 40 assists) and winning 5 league titles, 2 FA Cups and 4 EFL Cups with them, before captaining them to last year’s Champions League and leaving on a free transfer to join in Barcelona.
