Olympiacos submitted the appeal to CAS

In the CAS and with the… arrow o Olympic.

According to information, the Piraeus officially filed their appeal for the match with Panathinaikosasking for the disappearance of the penalty imposed on them by the Greek disciplinary bodies, namely the zeroing in the derby and the deduction of a point due to the incident with the firecracker.

It is recalled that the “red and white” had testified appeal which was rejected by the competent Committee of the EPO.

The penalties imposed on the club were as follows:

a) A monetary penalty of five thousand (5,000.00) euros for the act under item 1a, which she committed as a repeat offender, given the finding of her disciplinary responsibility for similar acts in four previously held matches of the same season, pursuant to no. 215/31-08-2023, 220/7-09-2023, 242/29-09-2023 and 250/5-10-2023 of final decisions of this disciplinary body (violation of articles 1, 5 et seq., 14 par. 1, 2, 3 and 4 para. a’, 15 par. 2 para. a’ of the EPO Code)

b) A monetary penalty of three thousand (3,000.00) euros for the 1b act, which she committed as a repeat offender, given the finding of her disciplinary responsibility for similar acts in a previously held match of the same season, pursuant to no. 250/5-10-2023 final decision of this disciplinary body (violation of articles 1, 5 et seq., 14 para. 1, 2, 3 and 4 para. a’, 15 para. 2 para. b’ ii) of the P.K . of the EPO)

c) Awarding the match in favor of the visiting team PAE PANATHINAIKOS with goals 0-3, (ii) deducting one (-1) point from the defeated PAE from the scoreboard of the league, in which it participates, as well as a monetary penalty of thirty thousand (30,000.00) euros and (iv) penalty of holding a match without spectators for two (2) matches (violation of articles 1, 5 et seq., 14 par. 1, 2, 3 and 4, para. a’, 15 par. 3, II para. b, 15 par. 6 para. b, d, f of the EPO Code and 21 para. 3 II EPO CAP)

d) A fine of three thousand (3,000.00) euros for the 4th act (violation of articles 1, 5 et seq., 14 par. 1, 2, 3 and 4, para. a’, 15 para. 3 para. I. a ‘, e’ of the P.C. of the EPO)• the third and fourth act was committed by the inductee as a repeat offender, given the finding of her disciplinary responsibility for similar acts in two previously held matches of the same competition season, pursuant to no. . 220/7-09-2023 and 250/5-10-2023 of final decisions of this disciplinary body

e) A fine of five thousand (5,000.00) euros for the 5th act (violation of articles 1, 5 et seq., 14 para. 1, 2, 3 and 4, para. a’, 15 para. 4 para. a’ sub .b of the P.C. of the EPO). Total monetary penalty, in the amount of thirty-eight thousand (38,000.00) euros (match on 22-10-2023 with PAE PANATHINAIKOS)
