I love the EuroLeague. She is very competitive. The athletes play basketball the right way and the environment, the atmosphere, which is most important, stands out. I just want to do what I do best, but the most important thing is to win. When we win, that takes care of all our problems and as long as I’m part of our team’s success, then I’m happy.
I say the NBA and the EuroLeague are like night and day. It kind of reminds me of college, here in Europe every game counts. It can either ‘make’ or ‘break’ you and it matters when you play in certain tournaments. We don’t only have Real Madrid as an opponent, but we have opponents everywhere we go and that shows how serious (the organization) is.”
