These are Fatih Terim’s colleagues at Panathinaikos

THE Fatih Terim made a winning debut on the Panathinaikos bench, with his team performing well and winning easily with 2-0 PAS Ioannina.

The Turkish coach will now have with him on the bench of the “clover”, four fellow countrymen, Necati Ates, Metin Tsakiroglu, Yasin Kuciuk and Mert Cetin. Additionally, Giorgos Mountakis, Dimitris Kapralos and Dimitris Brusalis remained.

NETSATI ATES / Assistant coach

Nechati Ates was born on January 3, 1980 in Smyrna. He started his football career in 1997 in Altai, continued on loan to Aydinspor and in 2004 moved to Galatasaray. In 2007 he was loaned to Ankaraspor and six months later to Istanbulspor. In the summer of 2008 he went on loan to the Spanish Real Sociedad and in 2009 he returned to Turkey for Antalyaspor. In 2012, he went to Eskişehirspor, where he stayed for two years, while in the 2014-15 season he played in Erseispor. He ended his career in Karsigiaka in 2016.

METIN TSAKIROGLOU / Assistant coach – Analyst

Metin Tsakiroglou was born on January 4, 1974 in Istanbul. He started as an analyst in 2006 at the Turkish Football Federation, a position he held for four years. From 2011 to 2013 he was an analyst at Galatasaray, while in 2014 he returned to the Turkish Football Federation as head of the analyst department. In 2019, he moved to Basaksehir, where he stayed until the beginning of 2023, before switching to Eyupspor for a few months.

YASHIN KIUTSYUK / Fitness coach

Yasin Kuciuk was born on February 1, 1984 in Manisa. In 2012, he took up the position of trainer at Galatasaray, where he remained until 2016. For a few months he worked with the Turkish national team, before leaving for Brazil for Atlético Paranaense. In 2018 he returned to Turkey for Galatasaray, staying for four years. In the 2022-23 season he worked in Casimbasa.

MERT CETIN / Assistant coach

Mert Cetin was born on October 17, 1983 in Istanbul. In 2007, he was hired by Genzelbirligi as assistant sports director and interpreter. From 2009 to 2022 he worked in Galatasaray as assistant team manager and interpreter.

GIORGOS MOUNDAKIS / Goalkeeper Coach

Giorgos Mountakis was born on 6/29/1980 in Athens. He started his career as a goalkeeper coach at AO Chania, then at Super League level he worked at Platanias, Corfu, Ergoteli, Asteras Tripoli and Lamia for three years.

DIMITRIS KAPRALOS / Assistant fitness coach

He was born on November 7, 1995. A graduate of TEFAA and a holder of a UEFA B diploma, he was a fitness coach in the K17 of Aris. Since the summer of 2020, he has been working at Panathinaikos, initially as an analyst in the academy but also as a fitness coach for K16-K17, while last year he joined the first team first as an analyst and from this year as an assistant fitness coach.

DIMITRIS BROUSALIS / Analyst

He was born on May 20, 1981 in Athens. He is a graduate of the Institute of Sports Analysis. He worked as a coach at Keravnos Petroupolis and as a game analyst at Apollon Chalandriou (one season and as an assistant coach) and at Olympiakos Nicosia, before starting his collaboration with Panathinaikos in June 2022.
