For Benfica, things were anyway extremely difficult, as the “eagles”, before their away game with Boavista on Friday (18/02) for the 23rd game, were at -10 from the champion Porto and at -3 from the second Sporting Lisbon. The “dragons” show unstoppablewith the “lions” trying to stay as close as possible at the top, which, now, Benfica sees with binoculars!

His team Nelson Verizimo led 2-0 in the first half, with Taarabt and Grimaldo scoring, and generally showing control absolutely condition. Within seven minutes, however, in the second 45 minutes, the “eagles”… they were crushed!

The hosts in the 74th minute reduced with Afonso, while six minutes later Makuta found the equalizer, with 2-2 to be maintained until the last whistle.
