Mijailovich the Fleisvos announced

Nikola Mijailovic is back in the Greek Men’s Volley League. Southern suburbs major league newcomers TAA have announced the signing of the 35-year-old Serbian winger for next year. The former ace of Finikas Syros, Ethnikos Alexandroupolis and Olympiakos is expected to strengthen his new team at the ends of the attack, in order to claim its stay in the big “living rooms”.

Last season, Mijailović played in Turkey with Galatasaray.

AO Flisvos is pleased to announce the start of cooperation with the athlete Nikola Mijailovic, who will strengthen the club in the new season in the Volley League championship.

In his first statements after the start of cooperation with the club, Nikola Mijailovic emphasized: “I am very happy that in the new season I will wear the shirt of Flísvos. My desire was to return to Greece, which I do not hide that I want to make… my first home! And the way the people of the club approached me, showing me how much they want to include me in the team, as well as the complete project they presented to me, made my decision much easier.

I felt that these are people who appreciate what I can offer not only on the court, but also off the court – with the experience I have having competed outside of Greece – and all of this led to my final decision to say yes to Flisvos’ proposal.

Now, regarding the new season, what we are aiming for in this first year of the team in the Volley League is to achieve our stay in the division as early as possible. This is our primary goal because the division is difficult, with several good and quality teams, which makes the league very competitive.

We will look to achieve our first goal and from there on everything that comes will add a ‘plus’ to our course. After all, the team’s project is designed for a long-term presence in the category, which is the desire of the president, but also of all the team executives. And I came to serve this project as well.”
