In the final stretch to close two transfer cases is the AEKas reported today (13/06) by the newspaper “Sports Time”.
“Union” is advancing its planning for the new season and its goal is to have completed -at least- two moves until the team leaves for the Netherlands for the main stage of their preparation on June 23.
The priority of the “two-headed” is to strengthen the positions of backs, central midfielders, midfielders and goalkeepers, with the desire to acquire a goalkeeper as quickly as possible.
On Wednesday (12/06) his name surfaced Thomas Strakosa, for whom AEK is working hard, in order to advance his case. The 29-year-old belongs to Brentford from 2022, however, in England he only makes six appearances and he is not satisfied with this situation.
The “yellow and black” can rely on the fact that the Albanian goalkeeper wants to leave, however, he must also convince himself that AEK and the Greek league is the right step for him. It is recalled that his contract with the English ends on 2026while an agreement with borrowing and purchase options.
At the same time, the issue with him remains open Alberto Brignolia case that is on the “double-headed” list, while on June 30 he remains formally free from Panathinaikos.
Immediate developments on the matter are expected, with AEK to want to close the transfer of the goalkeeper before the end of the month.
