Atromitos announced the acquisition of 19-year-old Kaloskamis

Kaloskamis was today at the PAE offices and signed a three-year contract in the presence of Technical Director Yiannis Angelopoulos.

Immediately afterwards he stated the following to atromitosfc.gr: “I feel very happy that from today I wear the jersey of Atromitos, a team that has left its mark on the Greek league and is special for its ability to highlight young footballers. Just look at the photos of players that adorn the sports center, whom Atromitos helped to go to the next level, and you will understand!

It is true that I had proposals from other teams as well, but the difference was made by Mr. Giannis Angelopoulos, who from the first moment made me feel comfortable and also important for the team’s project, which from this year will bear the signature of Mr. Pablo Garcia, whose presence it is also catalytic.

A coach who has worked in the Developmental Ages and knows them very well is needed by a football player to develop him and establish him at a very high level. Atromitos is also special for the organization and the perfect facilities and I want to thank the whole club, the management and Mr. Giorgos Spanos for the trust they showed in me. WHO IS

Dimitris Kaloskamis was born on March 1, 2005 and plays as an attacking midfielder, alternatively he can also offer his services on the “wings”. He stands out for his organizational ability and execution of set-pieces using both feet equally well.

In 2021, he signed a professional contract with Panathinaikos, trained with the First Team and competed with the K19. In 42 appearances (Super League, UEFA Youth League) with Panathinaikos U19, he scored 5 goals.

Last season he made 12 appearances for Panathinaikos II in Super League 2 and scored 1 goal. The leading English newspaper “Guardian” in 2022 had included him among the 60 greatest talents of the generation of 2005 in the world!
