Greetings to Daniel Castellani for the health problem he is facing, sent by Olympic. “Coach, we’re with you! Stay strong,” the “red and white” say.

It was recently announced that the 63-year-old coach, who won the double with Piraeus this season, is being sidelined for the Argentina national team due to a health problem he is facing.

The Argentina Volleyball Federation says that due to a medical treatment he will soon receive, coach Daniel Castellani will not be in charge of the Panthers (Argentina women’s national team) for the next challenges in 2024 and will rejoin after his health is restored.

The coach, with extensive international experience in national teams and clubs, had joined the Women’s National Team at the beginning of the 2023 season and led the team to victory in the Pan American Cup for the first time in history. In 2024, he led the two victories against Korea.

Castellani has recently undergone several medical tests and must prioritize his physical health, which is why this Thursday he held his last training session before facing the respective treatments.

The National team, which will compete in the Challenger Cup in the Philippines from July 4 to 7, will have Castellani’s assistant, Facundo Morando, and Martin Ambrosini in charge, continuing the work we started last season.

FeVA and Las Panteras, along with all of Argentina volleyball, appreciate the tremendous effort, teaching and work that Castellani provided in this first stage of his work and wish him a speedy recovery.

Good Strength, Daniel!».
