Great transfer for the men’s volleyball team of Olympiakos. The Amateur has announced the signing of the 35-year-old international Canadian winger for next year.
Perrin has a rich CV, having played in the biggest European leagues and last year for Turkey’s Halkbank, while also having accolades at national team level.

“OLYMPIACOS SFP announces the start of its partnership with John Gordon-Perrin. The Canadian winger (born 8/17/1989, 2.02m) signed his new contract and joins the roster of the club’s men’s volleyball team.
The Canadian former international (retired, in 2021 from his National Team) has a great resume and a lot of experience in the top leagues, with stints in Russia (Lokomotiv Novosibirsk, Ural, Belogorie), Poland (Resovia), Italy (Piacenza, Verona) and Turkey (Arkas, Halkbank), as well as in Brazil, China, Iran and Canada.
Last season he competed in Halkbank alongside the Frenchman Ervin Engape (one of the world’s top wingers). In the Turkish league, he scored 178 points in 54 sets, with seven aces, 219 receptions (26%), 268 attacks (57%) and 19 blocks.
Perrin has three championships and a Turkish Cup, a Challenge Cup, an Iran championship, a Latin American championship, a Brazilian Cup, as well as several medals with the Canadian national team, such as a gold in the Pan American Championship (2015). and a bronze at the World Championships (2017).
Perine, of course, has also won countless individual awards as best winger, best forward, best receiver and most valuable player (MVP) at both the collegiate and national team levels.
