THE Dimitris Triantafyllidis he returned to his handball team PAOK, as the “Two-Headed of the North” announced today (8/8) the acquisition of the 25-year-old left winger for the 2024-25 season. Triantafyllidis wore the black and white jersey in the two years 2021-23, while last season he played for AESH Pylaias.
After the finalization of his return to PAOK, Triantafyllidis stated on the club’s website: “I am very happy that after a year I am returning to the PAOK team. I already know very well how historic a club PAOK is and that its only goal is to star, both in domestic and European competitions. Personally, I am looking forward to the start of the new season so I can help the team achieve their goals. Born on 14/05/1999, Dimitris Triantafyllidis plays as a left winger and is 195cm tall.
He started his career in the 2016-17 season from Filippos Verias, where he remained until 2019, making his first appearances in the Handball Premier.
The 2019-20 season found him in Thessaloniki with the shirt of AESH Pylaia.
In the 2020-21 season, he returned again to Filippos Verias, in whom he managed to stand out with his performances.
In the next two seasons (2021-2023) he competed with the PAOK jersey, completing his first term in the “black and white”.
Last season (2023-24), he played for AESH Pylaias, being the team’s top scorer, scoring 114 goals in 22 matches in the Handball Premier.
