The first day of the Europa League ended with many and spectacular games.
Our attention was of course focused on PAOK’s 3-1 defeat by Galatasaray, but there were many excellent games on the first night of the second-tier European football competition.
The top match of the evening was Bodo Glimt’s 3-2 win over Porto, while Manchester United’s (1-1) draw with Twente at home was a surprise.
