“We are here to report another successful organization of the PPC Cycling Tour of Greece. It is our obligation to those who finance us, but also to the main source of income of our Organizing Committee which comes from the profits of the Betting players.
We want a Greece with its face turned outwards! Ready to respond to modern challenges and to organize major sporting events” emphasized at the beginning of his speech Mr. Brutsis and continued:
“With the flagships of the PPC Cycling Tour of Greece and the EKO Rally Acropolis, we firmly entered the game of global sports events!
Since 2022, when the Tour was revived, we are now able to evolve, year after year.
We have noted an increase in interest in hosting the stages of the Tour from regions across Greece, but also from more of the major road cycling teams who want to come and compete.
• 176 countries, 43 TV stations broadcast the 2024 Round putting Greece in 1.3 billion homes!
• In addition, the International Cycling Federation recognized the excellence of the Tour and awarded our Cycling Greece Organizing Committee and its officials for their spectacular results.
The PPC cycling Tour of Greece is slowly establishing itself in the global cycling community and we are investing in expanding its communication within and outside the borders.
Hand in hand with our major sponsor and namesake, PPC, but also with our other important partners, we are moving towards another event, the one in 2025.
Regions and Municipalities, Sponsors, Voluntary organizations such as the Red Cross and the President of Dr. Antonios Avgerinos, the institutional Authorities of the State such as the Greek Police, without whose contribution nothing could be implemented, the groups participating in our Race are our valuable allies in the effort we are making.
We are very excited but also obliged to continue unabated with special emphasis on the Parallel Events which aim to involve the local communities for the ever greater penetration of the bicycle, as a means of exercise as well as of movement”.
