Shock: Giannis Tima was found dead, information about suicide!

Shocking news comes from Russia. THE Yannis Timawhich in the 2018/19 season had been passed by Olympicwas found dead in Moscow and reports say it was a suicide! The authorities are investigating the case and the circumstances of the athlete’s death.

The Latvian forward, who was just 32, was spotted at the entrance to a building in the center of the Russian capital with a phone next to him, on which was a missed call to his ex-wife, singer Anna Sedokova.

The two had been married since 2020 and split last month. Tima had one child from his first marriagewhile together with Sentokova they raised the three children she had from her previous marriage. The couple’s relationship was very turbulent and they had been living apart for several months.

Tima played in the Euroleague in OlympicBaskonia and Khimki averaging 5.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 21.5 minutes in 96 total appearances. He also spent time at Riga, Zenit, Unix Kazan, Darussafaka and Obradeiro among others, with the Spanish club also the last of his career last season. He was drafted 60th overall by the Grizzlies in 2013, but never played in the NBA, except for a brief stint in the G-League.

Since 2013, he has been a member of the Latvian national team, playing in the 2015 and 2017 EuroBasket, as well as the 2016 Pre-Olympics. In total, he had 68 appearances and 584 points with the national team.
