A hard-working, low-key guy who shows at every opportunity how much he loves what he does, he always had great performances in the big international events, but he lacked something more.
In May 2024 in Azerbaijan, Bliadze achieved what he truly deserved, becoming European champion.
The Greek champion defeated Sakhaliuk (Ukraine) 4-1 and then Demian from Moldova 4-2.
In the final he faced the French Viskanov. In a match that was literally unfit for the faint of heart. The Frenchman led 6-1 and seemed to be in control of the match. However, he counted without the… heart of the Greek champion! With a cross-court counterattack, Bliadze turned the game around and 14″ before the end took the lead in the score with 7-6!
