Bourbus Appeal by OFI: Risk of deducting 10 points

by

Christos Bourbos filed the first instance of the Single -Member Jurisdiction of the Super League.

The veteran right -back argues that OFI’s appeal to the Civil Courts for the annulment of the EPO Arbitration Court of Court of Justice, which justifies it, constitutes a violation of Article 35 of the CFP (prohibition of appeal to civil courts for football disputes) and calls for the article to apply the article. 7 of the CAP, which provides for the removal of ten points from the league.

Article 7 of the CAP states, inter alia:

“(…) Associations that resort to the organizers’ or EPOs or other unions and seek to gain a racing advantage, citing provisions or rules outside the EPO’s notices and regulations or appeal to third parties and not by third party EPO regulations are punished by the disciplinary committee with a ten (-10 point) deduction penalty from the championship and a fine of 3,000.00 euros, while the President and their legal representative are also punished by a ban on entry in the fields. One (1) to three (3) years and with a fine of 3,000.00 euros each. ‘
