The alignment of planets observed by Earth is not a rare phenomenon. But the view of six planets together is rare and impressive.

Within this month, 6 planets will be marked in the night sky – 4 particularly brilliant and 2 more obstructed. Indeed, the phenomenon has already begun and becomes visible after sunset.

According to USATODAY, the 6 planets are:

  • Aphrodite
  • Saturn
  • Jupiter
  • Mars
  • Heaven
  • Poseidon

Of these, the first four are visible with naked eye, while heaven and Neptune require a telescope for observation.

Where to look

Venus and Saturn shine in the southwest the first two hours after sunset.

Zeus shines strongly and Mars rises to the east.

“The opportunities for observing many planets together are not extremely rare, but they do not happen every year, so it’s worth seeing,” Nasa said.
