A senior Turkish official said agreements would be signed during the official visit.
THE Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman will perform official visit to Turkey on Wednesday 22 June, a high-ranking Turkish official announced today at the French Agency that he did not want to be named.
This is the first visit of “MBS” to Turkey after the murder, in October 2018 in Istanbulτου Saudi journalist Jamal Kasogia case that had cooled relations between the two rival regional powers.
The detailed schedule of the visit will be announced “during the weekend”, according to the same source.
Agreements are expected to be signed during the visit, a senior Turkish official said, adding that the crown prince “is going to Ankara”, but his destination has not yet been clarified, he added.
THE Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had gone to Saudi Arabia in late April, where he had met with the Crown Prince, before heading to Mecca.
Erdogan and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia “reviewed Turkish-Saudi relations and the means for their development in all areas,” the Saudi news agency SPA reported after their meeting.
