The secretary of the League suggested that the Italian government should follow France

The secretary of the League, Matteo Salvini, referred today with his statements to the continuous increase in the price of natural gas. “We must act like France and allocate another 30 billion euros to deal with the energy price spike”emphasized Salvini.

At the same time, he underlined that “in order to achieve this goal, all the political forces of the country need to agree and the cabinet of the Draghi government must meet immediately”. “A political truce is needed. The bills of light and gas have neither a left nor a right shade” pointed out, characteristically, the secretary of the League.

According to the Italian media, during the week the government of Mario Draghi is going to take new measures to support businesses and the most vulnerable, financially households, which, however, are not expected to exceed ten billion euros.

Since the beginning of the year, to deal with the energy crisis, the Italian government has approved, in total, measures in favor of businesses and citizens, amounting to 52 billion euros.
