The Turkish president also spoke about his country’s armaments, saying characteristically that thanks to its weapons, Turkey is “a trouble for its enemies in the world”
For the third day in a row, the Turkish president made inflammatory statements against Greece Recep Tayyip Erdoganclaiming that “those who cause unrest in the Aegean with their harassment and rudeness are mere pawns”.
As broadcast from Istanbul by SKAI correspondent Manolis Kostidis, this time the Turkish president speaking to National Defense University implicitly characterized Greece as a vassal of foreign powers, claiming that “those who cause trouble with harassment and rudeness at every opportunity in the Aegean, are only pawns and the real fight is with those behind them”.
“We know very well where NATO transferred its power, which did not support us at the height of the threats against our country. We know the intentions of those who throw weapons at terrorists around the world and especially next to our borders, while they do not sell them to us,” the Turkish president then said.
He also referred to the sailors of the country whom he said “are warriors in the footsteps of the infamous leaders who turned the Mediterranean into a Turkish lake”.
At the same time, he also spoke about the armaments, saying characteristically that Turkey thanks to its weapons is “trouble of those who are her enemies in the world”: “Now we sail our seas with our frigates. But someone is waiting for something from somewhere. We exist with our drones, our armed drones and our Akıncı. Now we are with our Gökbey. Now, with these weapons, we are the trouble of our enemies in the world. We are no longer a country that admires other countries in the world with the potential it has. This is over now, it’s history,” he declared.
