A team of security forces stormed a high school in the eastern city of Iranshah last Tuesday to track down students in the nationwide anti-government protests.
Schoolgirls across Iran have joined the national protests in recent days. Halwash News Agency and the campaign Baloch Activists’ Campaignwho monitor human rights violations in the Baluchistan region of Iran, revealed the new tragic case of the murder of the Iranian schoolgirl.
The young girl suffered a nosebleed at school and died a few hours after arriving at the hospital. Intelligence agencies later threatened her family and friends not to disclose her death to the media.
“Security guards stormed the school last Tuesday and searched the books of all the students. Parmis had torn up pictures of Khomeini and for this crime they started beating her in front of other students,” a source told Halwash.
“Her nose was bleeding profusely and she was taken to hospital… He died on Wednesday and was taken to Zahedan for burial”the report says.
Local officials dismissed reports of her death and blamed “hostile media” for spreading anti-regime propaganda. Iranian authorities also accused the media of “faking the deaths” of those killed since the unrest began, including at least 32 children.
