Oikonomou: Mr. Tsipras now remembered that Greece exists – During his administration he was indifferent to the problems of the region

“During his administration he was indifferent to the problems of the region, the needs of its people and with over-taxation, cuts in pensions and the destruction of the primary sector worsened the lives of its residents,” the government spokesman said.

“For four years, Mr. Tsipras was absent, physically and mentally, from the Greek region. Now, in view of elections, he remembered that Greece exists outside the urban centers” he pointed out Yannis Oikonomou for the president of SYRIZA who today visited the special homeland of the Government Representative.

“During his administration he was indifferent to the problems of the region, the needs of its people and with over-taxation, pension cuts and the destruction of the primary sector he made the lives of its residents worse. Our Government is judged for its work, which is compared to the disastrous governance of Mr. Tsipras.

Instead of another answer to the “tape” he repeats about the causes of imported precision and the risk of humanitarian disaster this winter, let him look at the drastic reduction of electricity bills and the containment of prices of basic goods. These were made possible by key political interventions of the Government, which relentlessly fights the crises.
The non-existent and slanderous claims he makes about the Prime Minister, regarding surveillance software and the EYP, testify to his deceit and political shamelessness. In no civilized country would a serious and responsible politician dare to accuse the Prime Minister without a trace of proof. And it takes too much audacity to become a censor when two of his ministers, Mr. Pappas and Mr. Papagelopoulos, are being tried for serious offenses in a Special Court.”
