A video from inside the cockpit of one of the helicopters shows the shocking moment just before two helicopters collided in mid-air near Sea World on Australia’s Gold Coast, killing four.
As seen in the video, released by Australia’s 7NEWS network, a passenger was trying to warn the pilot that another helicopter was approaching theirs.
The passenger, who is in the back seat, is seen repeatedly hitting the pilot on the right shoulder. Four people were killed and three others were seriously injured. In total there are 13 injured.
THE conflictjust outside Sea World on the Gold Coast, happened at around 2pm local time, while the park would have been packed with families enjoying the summer school holidays.
According to ABC News, one of the two helicopters managed to land after the collision.
