The annual “No Pants Day on the Tube” event returned to London on Sunday, after a 3-year absence
The annual No Trousers Tube Ride event returned to London on Sunday, after a 3-year absence due to the coronavirus.
Londoners took off their trousers and went around for a day in just their underwear on public transport, braving the cold and some – a few – derogatory stares.
Women and men of all ages and body types entered the carriages dressed from the waist up… decently and from the waist down wearing only their underwear, socks and shoes in a funny jumble.
The Elizabeth Line, which opened last year, welcomed its first pantsless passengers, with hundreds of people traveling in their underwear from the waist down.
This event is part of the global “No Pants Subway Ride” movement that started in New York in 2002 and has since spread to more than 60 cities around the world.
