The Turkish media are thanking Greece today for its help, as Manolis Kostidis, SKAI’s correspondent in Turkey, broadcasts from Adana.

“Greeks save lives” a Turkish publication reported. “They appreciate it, I also spoke with the state authorities, and with high-ranking officials, they also appreciated the Greek aid that came and is coming, (they appreciated) the message of Mitsotakis, there is a very good contact (between Greece and Turkey)” noted Manolis Kostidis .

He pointed out that mishandling the earthquake response will cost Erdogan enormously, but it can also put him in a better position if he organizes it quickly.

The Greek search and rescue mission, in the Hatay province of Antioch, has rescued four people, a 15-year-old boy, a 50-year-old man and two 9- and 7-year-old girls.

The members of the first Greek expedition, who are operating in different places, continue for a second day their efforts against time and freezing.
