Today and tomorrow, essential items are being collected in Cyprus and will then be sent directly to the earthquake victims
Starting today, Thursday, until Friday 17/2/2023, in Cyprus, a campaign to collect humanitarian aid for those affected by the deadly earthquake in Syria and Turkey.
The campaign is carried out by the Office of the Citizen’s Commissioner in collaboration with the Civil Defense of Cyprus.
The entire effort is made in collaboration with all the competent State Services and is supported by Local Government Agencies as well as organizations and organizations and concerns the following items:
- Dry food (canned food, cereals, nuts, cookies, flour, spaghetti, baby milk powder/baby food)
- Sleeping bags and underlays
- Blankets
- Winter clothes and shoes
- Personal hygiene items
- Detergents/Cleaning products
- Diapers for children and adults
- A warm request to those who wish to contribute to the whole effort to limit themselves to what is included in the above list.
Those interested can present the items at specific points published by the Press and Information Service.
