The mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, announced that no victims were found in a commercial store that caught fire in a western district of the capital of Ukraine, while the flames have now been controlled.

Air defense warning sirens sounded in many parts of the country last night, but the alert in Kiev was ended after a series of explosions in the city.

“Fire and rescue crews are at the location where a fire broke out after the explosion in the Sviatosino district of the capital,” Mr. Klitschko said via the Telegram platform, adding that the flames were brought under control and that “no victims were found.”

The Air Force of Ukraine also reported on its side, also via Telegram, that it shot down a Russian remote-controlled drone, without specifying where exactly.
