Tensions flared as family members of hostages kidnapped by Hamas – including those who have been released – met today with the prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and members of the war cabinet, according to Israeli media.
Numerous Israeli media reported that Netanyahu told the families “there is no possibility at this time to release them all. Can anyone really imagine that if this was an option, someone would refuse it?” the Israeli prime minister told the meeting, angering many of those present.

Israel’s Ynet reported that Netanyahu read from a piece of paper most of what he said at the meeting and did not answer any questions.
According to Channel 12, the daughter of the 79-year-old hostage Syme Perrytold the Israeli prime minister that the release of the remaining hostages should be prioritized over the ongoing war against Hamas.
