Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the war against Hamas and the fire situation in the region.

Netanyahu expressed his displeasure with the positions expressed against Israel by Russian representatives at the UN and other forums. At the same time, he criticized strongly on the dangerous cooperation between Russia and Iran.

The prime minister emphasized that any country that had been hit with a criminal terrorist attack like Israel would have reacted with no less force than Israel is using.

At the same time, he expressed his appreciation for the Russia’s attempt to free an Israeli citizen with Russian citizenship and stressed that Israel will use all means, diplomatic and military, to free all hostages.

The Prime Minister also asked Russia to put pressure on the Red Cross to contact the hostages and deliver medicine.
