The Houthis, apart from the USA, warn other countries that will participate in the multinational formation against them
The leader of Yemen’s Shiite, Iran-backed Houthi movement, Abdel Malek al-Houthi, warned today that his organization will start firing missiles at US warships if Washington interferes more in his organization’s affairs or targets the Yemen.
Al Houthi also warned other countries not to get involved in a multinational formation announced by the US on Tuesday to protect navigation in the Red Seain order to counter the Houthi’s repeated attacks against ships that they say are “connected” to Israel.
If the US starts getting more involved, the Houthis “will not stand idly by and target both US warships and their interests with missiles”al-Houthi said in a televised speech.
The Houthis have launched a series of drone and missile attacks against ships in the Red Sea in response to Israeli shelling of the Gaza Strip.
