CIA Director William Burns and senior officials of Egypt, Qatar and Israel held talks in Paris today to discuss a Gaza ceasefire agreementaccording to informed sources.

The representatives of the four countries also had contacts with the French authorities, according to the same sources, with the aim of making progress in talks on an agreement that includes the implementation of a ceasefire and the release of hostages held in Gaza.

Meetings are held in various formats. They started yesterday and continue today.

During this period, according to the publication, the sides will negotiate the details of a second phase that will also last 30 days and allow the release of the men and soldiers.

The terms of the deal will also include the release of Palestinians held in Israeli prisons, according to the New York Times.
