Israel’s Foreign Minister Israel Katz said on Tuesday that Turkey has “unilaterally violated” trade agreements with his country
The possibility is obvious trade war between Turkey and Israel, after the Turkish “block” in the export of certain products, including raw materials.
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said on Tuesday that Turkey has “unilaterally violate” trade agreements with his country. Israel’s foreign minister stressed that Israel will respond to Turkish export restrictions with its own restrictions in products from Turkey, without making further clarifications.
Katz warned that Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdogan is “again sacrificing the economic interests of the people of Turkey to support Hamas and we will respond accordingly.”
Turkey announced that from today Tuesday restricts the exports of some products, including raw materials, to Israel until it implements a ceasefire and allows an “adequate and uninterrupted flow” of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, the Commerce Ministry said on Tuesday.
“Israel continues to flagrantly violate international law and ignores the international community’s numerous calls for a ceasefire and uninterrupted humanitarian aid”the ministry said in a statement.
The Tel Aviv must, “in full cooperation with the UN, to allow the uninterrupted delivery of all essential humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in the Gaza Stripincluding the medical supplies and health services they need”he added.
