Relatives of the victims were flown to Sao Paulo to provide DNA samples to aid identification.
The plane’s ‘black box’ that contained recordings and flight data is being examined to answer the question what happened and the aircraft went into a spin and then crashed.

The plane, an ATR-72, was flying from Cascavel, in the state of Paraná (south) to Guarulius International Airport, in Sao Paulo. After a sudden loss of altitude, it crashed at 13:25 (local time; 19:25 Greek time) in Vientiane, a community of 76,000 people, about 80 kilometers northwest of the city of Sao Paulo, scaring residents.
The aircraft was flying normally until it stopped responding to calls and then radar contact was lost. The pilots did not report an emergency or adverse weather conditions, according to the Brazilian Air Force.
