Dozens of Hezbollah sites in Lebanon have been hit by Israeli Air Force fighter jets in recent hours, according to the IDF.

According to the military, among the targets was a rocket launcher used to target the northern town of Sde Eliezer earlier today.

Several more rocket launchers aimed at Israel, buildings where Hezbollah stored weapons and other structures used by the group were hit, the IDF added.

Earlier, sirens sounded in Haifa and several other cities in northern Israel triggered by a rocket fired from Lebanon.

On the hill of Haifa, where the journalists send their responses, sirens can be heard and in the background explosions from the interceptions.

According to the IDF, the missile was successfully intercepted by air defenses.

The widespread use of sirens was due to interception attempts and fears of falling debris.
