The first photo of the strike near Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea was recently released. Damage to Netanyahu’s home from the strike, which prompted Israel’s immediate retaliation in Beirut, is visible to the naked eye. The Israeli prime minister and his family were not in Caesarea at the time of the attack, but in Jerusalem.

Although Hezbollah has not officially claimed responsibility for this attack, it is considered the most likely suspect along with the Revolutionary Guards. Especially, given that in its statement last Thursday, the Lebanese organization announced that it is entering “a new and escalating phase” in its conflict with Israel, and that in the coming days this decision will show its results.

Sources from Benjamin Netanyahu’s environment, reports SKAI’s envoy to Israel Stavros Ioannidis, consider Iran as equally responsible as Hezbollah for today’s drone attack.

Hezbollah launched a new attack with drones and rockets against Israel this morning, even targeting the house of the Israeli prime minister. One of Hezbollah’s drones penetrated Israeli air defenses and crashed into a “structure” in Caesarea, the Israeli military said.

It was later reported that the drone had crashed near Netanyahu’s residence, and Israel described the attack as an assassination attempt on the prime minister.

“A drone was launched today against the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the northern Israeli city of Caesarea,” the Israeli prime minister’s spokesman said, adding that he and his wife were not at home and there were no casualties.

A little later, the Israeli prime minister in a video posted on social media said: “Nothing will stop us.” In the video, Netanyahu insists that “nothing will stop him” and that Israel “will win this war.”

Strolling through a sunny park, wearing sunglasses and a black polo shirt, Netanyahu says in Hebrew: “You know, two days ago we eliminated the leader of Hamas, Yahya Shinuar. As I said, we are in an existential war and we will continue until the end.”

“And I want to say something else, I’m proud of our soldiers, I’m proud of our commanders, and I’m proud of you, the citizens of Israel,” he adds.

In the English version, Netanyahu calls Sinwar “the mastermind of terrorism whose thugs beheaded our men, raped our women and burned babies alive.”

“We eliminated him,” says the Israeli prime minister, “and we continue our battle with Iran’s other terrorist proxies.”

Hezbollah: “We hit a military base”

Hezbollah said it targeted the Haifa area and a nearby military base in northern Israel, wounding five people from shrapnel, according to Magen David Adom, Israel’s equivalent of the Red Cross.

The Lebanese organization had announced on Thursday that it had entered a “phase of escalation” with Israel, with which it is now at open war.

According to the Israeli military, northern Israel was targeted by a volley of about 100 missiles fired from Lebanon this morning.

In Kiryat Ata, about 15 kilometers from Haifa, the Magen David Adom agency counted three people “slightly injured by shrapnel”, two others “slightly injured by the shock wave of the explosions”, as well as five people “suffered anxiety attacks”.
