According to Hellas Journal information from a high-ranking diplomatic source, President Joe Biden sent the invitation yesterday Saturday to the Cypriot President and invited him to come to Washington to have strategic talks.

The Americans and their allies especially express their “thank you” to Cyprus for the assistance it has offered over the last 20 months to the American and other forces operating in the Mediterranean and Middle East region.

On the other hand, in light of the new developments in the wider neighborhood of Cyprus, the Americans and their allies wish to upgrade their military alliances with the Megalonisos.

Of course, at the meeting between President Biden and Nikos Christodoulidis, the Cyprus issue will also be discussed.

The American side supports the actions of the Cypriot President for the resumption of negotiations and has opposed the dichotomous “settlement” of the two states, which Turkey demands.
