Meeting with its president PolandAndrei Duda, had US Vice President Kamala Harris, after the recent incident between the two countries over the supply of Polish fighter jets to Ukraine.
“I want to be very clear. “The United States and Poland are united and ready to help Ukraine and the people of Ukraine,” Harris said during a joint news conference with Polish President Andrei Duda.
However, Harris avoided referring to the incident that unfolded earlier this week, when Poland said it would deliver its warplanes to the United States instead of delivering them directly to Ukraine.
Harris stressed the United States’ already providing military support to Ukraine due to a lack of air power, including anti-tank missiles.
“We make deliveries every day,” Harris said. Asked what more Ukraine could expect, Harris said: “This is an ongoing process and it will not stop as long as there is a need.”
“The United States stands ready to defend every inch of NATO territory. “The United States takes seriously that one attack on one is an attack on all,” Harris said, announcing the delivery of two new Patriot missile systems to Poland.
The US Vice President announced that the US will provide another $ 50 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
