Ukraine Ukraine’s Ukrainian Railway Company systems have been a large -scale cyberattack target, as the company announced today.
The interruption was initially reported yesterday when Ukrzaliznytsia informed its users about the collapse of its electronic system and asked passengers to buy tickets to counter or trains.
Today, rail traffic is stable and the itineraries are running without delay, according to the company’s announcement at Telegram. There are efforts to restore online systems yesterday.
The Railway Company said passengers can today issue tickets to the counter or trains until the reserve systems were restored after “systemic, not insignificant and multilevel” as he described it, attack.
After the Russian invasion of 2022 and the closure of airspace over Ukraine, the trains became the main means of transport within the country as well as to and from other countries.
