A Senior British defense official stated today that the Russia is now waging a war of attrition on Ukraine which will increase disasters and civilian casualties.
“Russian operations have changed,” said Jim Hawkenhul, head of defense intelligence for the British intelligence service MI-6, during a press conference. Kremlin “Is now pursuing a strategy of decay” after failing to achieve its “original goals”.
“This will include the irresponsible and indiscriminate use of firepower” and “will result in more civilian casualties, the destruction of Ukrainian infrastructure “and will intensify the humanitarian crisis,” he warned.
